Samini 'beats' Sarkodie in Love Rocks

The two legendaries seems incomparable when it comes to their style of delivering musical messages. Samini, who is notably known to be a reggae dancehall artiste has all lyrics to suit any type of rhythm.

Sarkodie, the fastest rapper in Ghana is among the few who are uplifting the image of the Ghana Music Industry through their classic and unique style. Now, on 'Love rocks', which is a track from Sarkodie featured by Samini has drawn a clear distinction between the 'My Own' song hit maker and the 'Kumasi freestyler'.

Samini had all the chances to beat Sarkodie in the 'Love rocks' because, the track itself is seen as a reggae dancehall which is his field. Sarkodie is seen as a hiplifer (a rapper) who was trying to go reggae in the 'Love rocks'. Sarkodie had a good selection of lyrics that suit the content of the song and he tried as much as possible to deviate from his normal rapping style to reggae style which is the tune of the song.

Samini, who has a master hand on reggae dancehall first of all mocked at Sarkodie's first rap, this was what he said, 'hm hm hm Sark waso oden ooo wooyeden? twi raggae.....' Samini was right to mock at Sarkodie's first rap because when you take a critical listen to the first rap by Sarkodie, you could agree with me that Sarkodie was really suffering and panting behind the microphone simply because, he(Sarkodie) is not used to reggae style. After Sarkodie's first part, Chief Samini came in with his, which caught the attention of listeners and beat down Sarkodie's part.

Samini interchangeably used four different voices which is husky, silky, bass and tenor continuously which became a plus for him. Sarkodie came to realised it, so in his second rap, he didn't go reggae, he did his normal rap.
